I’ve used some in the past just to test the quality, and they all fell short of my expectations. However, there was one really good software that I bought called “Natural Reader”. You will want to purchase “voices” from their site when you buy the software. This is the closest that I’ve found to an actual human voice speaking – but it still needs some work. But using your own voice should your number 1 option anyway.

When it comes down to the length of your podcasts, strive to keep them all over 10 minutes. You will find that 10 minutes goes by really fast when you’re speaking off the top of your head. If you don’t like to write and then translate via your voice, then just speak naturally. All your listeners want is the information, so just deliver it to them. Just make sure that you’re clear and coherent.
